教會背景 Background
我們的教會起源於1975年復活節，當時有一位牧師叫Ronnie McCracken及另一位弟兄 Nai Bob Cham一起在貝爾法斯特的華人作了些福音的工作，這些華人的基督徒就是當年貝爾法斯特華人團契的骨幹。
在大約 1994年，團契聚會的人數不斷增長，每天都有聚會在各人家裡，教會或其他地方。
在1996年，團契的成員決定購買會堂的現址。同年本教會亦正式成為第一間在北愛的華人教會，取名貝爾法斯特華人基督教會 (BCCC) 。在上一次北愛的人口普查當中，中國人有大約15,000。作為北愛的唯一的華人教會，我們有責任及義務將福音傳給那些未信主的華人。
BCCC現時有會員人數大約250。但與北愛的華人人口相比較，佔的比率仍然很細。當我們要將主的事工去推展時，是要有資源互相的配合才可。
The church's origin dates back to Easter, 1975, when the Reverend Ronnie McCracken and Mr. Nai Bob Cham started some evangelistic work amongst the local Chinese in Belfast. This group of believers became known as the Belfast Chinese Christian Fellowship (BCCF).
At around 1994, the church work began to expand to such an extent that there were meetings, either in the church or at various homes, taking place on almost every day of the week.
In 1996, BCCF members made a decision to proceed with the purchase of the current Halls. In the same year the church was instituted the first Chinese church in Northern Ireland with the name of the Belfast Chinese Christian Church (BCCC).
In the last Census of Northern Ireland; it was calculated that there are over 15000 Chinese; and as BCCC is the only Chinese church; we have the duty and responsibility to preach the Gospel to those who still need to hear.
BCCC has 250 members currently; in comparison to the total number of 15000; it is only a very small proportion. To enable ourselves to do the work of God, we therefore need resources.
建堂計劃 Project Program
感謝神的恩典，教會一直地成長。而當我們與主同行時，神必然將人數加添我們。所以我們在2009年9月成立了建堂小組去研究教會建築物的擴建如何能配合將來會眾增長對教會的要求。
在最初的階段，我們要選擇建築師來幫助我們建堂。經過考慮了3間不同的公司，我們聘請了20:20建築師。他們與我們有過多次的會議，而則師 Sam Thompson 更為我們及會眾提供了工作坊，及出席教會的聚會來回應弟兄姊妹對建堂的問題。
第二階段的建堂計劃，20:20給予建堂小組及會眾幾個重建方案，在會員大會中投票表決。結果 C方案以大比數92%獲得通過。這方案給我們機會完全重建我們現時一半的建築，大堂部份重修，給我們更大的空間。這項工程造價大約一百萬英鎊。
2010年6月，我們在教會派發了認獻表格，為建堂籌款奠定了根基，亦籍此見到弟兄姊妹對建堂的決心。
With God’s grace the church is growing and we anticipate that the church will continue to grow as we walk together with God. As a result The BUILD Team was formed in September of 2009 to identify the need of the church to expand and how we can accommondate future growth.
The initial stages were to select architect to assist us in the building project. After meetings with 3 different architects; 2020 Architects was chosen. The team had numerous meetings with 2020 and the Architect, Sam Thompson, had also provided the team and the whole congregation with workshops and attended church meetings in answering questions from fellow members.
In the next stage of the BUILD Project, the Team and the congregation were given different options to vote on to progress to the next stage by 2020 Architects . And in March 2010 an SGM was called to vote on the various options. On the day, ‘Option C’ were chosen for the next stage of the project with 92% of the vote.
And in June 2010 pledge forms were given and received to build the foundation of the commitment by each of the member of the congregation.

Option C: Major Refurbishment
Retain and modify the existing sanctuary to give a range of new rooms. Demolish the remainder of the building from the existing sanctuary to the rear hall. Build new sanctuary, foyer, kitchen, utility rooms, stores and create an upper balcony.
